This 8 year old boy has down syndrome but physically is extremely active and well.
Mother is looking for support to take him out and about for walks along the sea front and various other activities (to be discussed at the interview).
We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children with a learning disability, who would be happy to support with some personal care and also, as the client is not road aware and can get tired when walking, are physically able to push a buggy.
It would be helpful if you could drive and would need to have a full driving licence.
The employer operates a no smoking policy.
It is very important to me that you are friendly and have a sense of humour, you will also need to be flexible and punctual.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be requested to undertake other tasks as and when required commensurate with the role of a Personal Assistant (PA).
